Infinity DISH arms DISH Subscribers with SlingLoaded™ DVR

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) May 10, 2011—Infinity DISH and DISH® offer subscribers the ViP 922 SlingLoaded™ DVR for viewers looking to watch TV through their mobile device. PC Magazine raved about this device calling it "the best DVR you can get, especially if you want to watch TV anytime or anywhere."

The ViP 922 revolutionizes the way viewers watch TV by utilizing SlingLoaded™ technology that allows for faster TV connections through mobile devices. Viewers can simply download the DISH mobile app and this DVR device allows them to watch live TV as well as record programming anywhere they can get internet coverage. Subscribers won't have to settle for slow loading times or committing to a stream from a third-party internet retailer again. They can watch TV straight from their mobile device and they can also record programming through their DVR device so they'll never miss out on a great show again.

This award-winning DVR device was recognized by PCMag.com as an Editors' Choice and drew accolades for outstanding user interface as well as its massive 1 Terabyte hard drive. CNET called this device to be far superior than anything the cable company has put out and having the SlingLoaded™ name behind it means that you can watch TV from anywhere in the world.

Offered exclusively to DISH customers, the ViP 922 SlingLoaded™ DVR goes perfectly with satellite TV to give subscribers a library of programming to choose from. This single device can store and replace most DVD collections and then some. Viewers can simply keep the ones that they enjoy watching over and over again and recycle through full seasons of shows. In addition, this device takes the power of the DVR and drives it a step further by fully integrating it with their mobile device.

By signing up for DISH through Infinity DISH, subscribers will also have access to a wide umbrella of entertainment options available. DISHOnline.com is DISH's home to streaming content on the web and more recently, it secured exclusive rights to stream HBO® and Cinemax® content on the site; something that web providers Netflix® and Hulu® don't have. In a recent statement from Time Magazine's blog, DISH's Senior VP of Programming, Dave Shull, stated that subscribers can also get new titles immediately after their premiere and bonus content for that movie through DISHOnline.com.

One of the great perks of this recent trend of new technology is that time slots have now become irrelevant. TV Networks have more flexibility to extend the life span of a TV show and may not feel the pressure to cancel them right away due to traditional ways of measuring ratings. The ability to watch TV on a viewer's own terms has truly redefined this industry and it can only benefit the viewing public by way of better overall selections.

Infinity DISH Promotes Good Health, Team Work through Wellness Program

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) April 12, 2011—For companies looking for better returns from their workforce, investing in an employee health and wellness program can pay off in the long run. As the largest DISH retailer in North America, Infinity DISH believes that an active employee is a prosperous one.

Infinity DISH is implementing a system to promote interaction and a strong team concept among its employees. Through their newly-created wellness program, Infinity is not only strictly analyzing the returns on their investment, but the well-being of their employees as well. Currently, Infinity is partnering with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to raise money and participate in a 5K run sponsored event. Employees work in conjunction with a team of experts that will provide them training designed to help participants finish the race. Participants are able to raise funds individually through a personal fundraising website for this great organization.

Infinity DISH, a division of Infinity Sales Group LLC, realizes that many corporate Americans find themselves in cubicles for most of the day. Recent studies suggest that leading a more balanced and active lifestyle is crucial for productivity in the work place.

According to the Harvard School of Public Health, being physically inactive can have a far-reaching effect on an employee's overall health. It increases the risk of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and stroke. Research findings also point out that little exercise is better than none in most cases, but as the level of your workout intensity increases your health will drastically improve as well.

The research institute also suggests partaking in activities that you enjoy doing such as dancing, walking, gardening, or playing basketball to combat daily inactivity. Another crucial element for a healthy lifestyle is repetition and working out with a partner that will keep you accountable of your daily regimen. Slowly companies across America are taking notice of this widespread problem in the workplace. Corporations are expanding their budget for health and wellness programs, realizing that a company's success is heavily dependent on the productivity and creativity of its employees. In addition, wellness programs equate to healthier employees which can cut healthcare costs for most corporations down the line.

As a newly launched program within the company, Infinity Sales Group's health and wellness program also offers discounted rates through LA Fitness. Benefits include no enrollment fees, contracts, classes and a network of babysitters.

Infinity DISH truly believes in this program and is relying on it to be a major driving force for the future success of the company. Not only are they great for philanthropy, but they promote team-building strategies and a healthy corporate atmosphere.

New Jobs Flocking to Florida with DISH Retailer

Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) March 9, 2011—Job seekers should look no further than Florida for career opportunities. Infinity DISH recently brought 450 jobs to Boca Raton, FL and announced the creation of 200 more. As the largest DISH retailer in North America, Infinity DISH is looking to the Sunshine State to expand their business.

When we think of businesses expanding, we think Silicon Valley, California is the place to be. After all, Google, HP, Cisco and Facebook have made their homes there. Lately, however, there has been an influx of businesses such as DISH retailers, aircraft manufacturers and others congregating in Florida, which is great news for job seekers looking for employment opportunities.

Mayor Susan Whelchel of Boca Raton, Florida, recently attended a Grand Opening ceremony for Infinity Sales Group, LLC in January of 2011, a retailer of DISH satellite TV. Whelchel spoke about the company's ribbon-cutting experience during a Rotary Club luncheon on January 26th with a sense of wonder and excitement. "They brought in 450 new jobs and announced 200 more," Whelchel said. "I know things are changing, I see it. I feel it."

As a retailer company for Fortune 200 partners, Infinity Sales Group / Infinity DISH is the largest authorized retailer for DISH satellite TV in North America. Increasing from 50 to 450 new employees, Infinity Sales Group is one of the fastest growing employers in Palm Beach County, and the best is yet to come, as Infinity Sales Group announced that they will be creating 200 more jobs over the next two years in their Florida offices.

The trend does not just apply to white-collar jobs. Recently, Boca Raton hosted the National Business Aviation Association's daylong forum on all things airplanes. According to the South Florida Business Journal, the association represents more than 8,000 companies. The NBAA announced that Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, will be looking to add jobs to its assembling plant in Jacksonville, Florida. Embraer's belief in a global presence has led them to Florida, and the company has grown to be one of the largest aviation manufacturing companies in the world.

Certainly, businesses are finding their homes in Florida, and it's not hard to figure out why. Florida is an ideal place to live, and companies like Infinity Sales Group have come to the conclusion that happier employees equal bigger returns. According to their company credo, Infinity Sales Group strives to promote unity within the company through excellence in communication and work processes. The company also has a reputation of providing involvement, recognition and advancement opportunities to their associates. In addition, they are actively hiring Sales Agents and other personnel year-round as part of their staff. Currently, Infinity Sales Group utilizes a space of about 35,000 square feet in Boca Raton with plenty of room to expand as their list of partners continues to grow.

Delray firm Infinity Sales Group to add 200 workers, move to Boca

By Jeff Ostrowski
Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

DELRAY BEACH—A company that sells DISH subscriptions plans to hire 200 workers over the next two years and move to a larger headquarters.

Infinity Sales Group of Delray Beach already employs 340 people and aims to add 200 full-time positions in sales, customer service and office administration, according to the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

Infinity Sales Group sells satellite TV service on behalf of DISH Corp., whose growth has outpaced that of rivals. In the fourth quarter of 2009, DISH added 249,000 subscribers, while DirecTV added 119,000 subscribers and Comcast, the nation's largest cable company, lost 200,000 customers.

"We sell a great product, and it's being well-received across the country," said Ken Rosen, the company's co-chairman. As part of its expansion, Infinity Sales Group will move into a 35,000-square-foot office at 5201 Congress Ave. in Boca Raton. It pays customer service workers $10 an hour, while salespeople make about $35,000 a year, Rosen said. Infinity Sales Group dangles plenty of perks, Rosen said, including free food every Wednesday. Winners of sales contests are rewarded with everything from free 10-minute massages to free cars.

Infinity Sales Group is open 17 hours a day, seven days a week, reflecting what DISH in its latest annual report called "intense and increasing competition" for pay-TV subscribers. Rosen declined to disclose financial information about his company.

In another bit of good news for Palm Beach County's job market, aerospace engineering firm Belcan Corp. of Palm Beach Gardens plans to add 50 workers to its staff of 325, the Business Development Board said Tuesday. Any hiring is welcome in Palm Beach County, where the jobless rate was 12.4 percent in February.

Infinity Sales Group, a retail seller of DISH, also secured a grant for manager training with help from the BDB, co-Chairman Ken Rosen said. Infinity Sales Group is to receive about $18,000 in reimbursement, he said. Infinity Sales Group plans to add about 200 employees over the next two years.

The company employs about 330 at a Delray Beach call center. It will move from Delray Beach, where it has a 14,000-square-foot facility, to Boca Raton, where it has leased 35,000 square feet, Rosen said. As DISH continues to grow, Infinity Sales Group needs more sales and customer service call agents, he noted.
